The movie will likely follow the trio of brothers.Barry, Robin and Maurice Gibb, and their journey from humble beginnings in 1958 to worldwide fame after working on the soundtrack for the 1977 film.Saturday night feverand penned iconic tracks like "Stayin' Alive" and "More Than a Woman." Paramount and King purchased the housing rights to the Gibb family estate, allowing them to use the group's greatest hits in the film. Barry is the only surviving member of the group, as Maurice and Robin died in 2003 and 2012 respectively.

The filmmaker spent several years with the band on their 2010 documentary, also titledLemmy. The film follows Kilmister's childhood in England, his days as a roadie for Jimi Hendrix and the five years he spent with the rock band Hawkwind before founding Motörhead and forever changing the future of rock music. Motörhead manager Todd Singerman and Steffan Chirazi will executive produce a script co-written by Medeni Griffiths with Olliver.

A biographical film about an iconic female-fronted rock band, written and directed by another iconic rock star: Sleater-Kinney's.Carrie Brownsteinwill write and direct a biopic about the rock bandhertzfor Amazon Studios. It was Heart's own guitarist, Ann Wilson, who was responsiblerevealed on SiriusXM's Volume WestHe“There is [a film] in the works”about his band, best known for late '70s and early '80s hits like "Crazy on You" and "Barracuda". Wilson added that he "saw the first draft of the script, it's really cool... The script started in childhood and ended in the '90s". Wilson and her sister Nancy Wilson are currently being cast in the roles.
